Telecommunication Technician

What They Do
Telecommunication Technicians install, repair, modify and upgrade the internal telephone and local area networks of buildings. The work involves the installation, troubleshooting and testing of both copper and fiber based cabling systems for voice and data, security and life safety systems and other voice and data technology systems.

Qualifications
• Must be at least 18
• Complete application
• Legally reside in the United States
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license


Application Requirements
• High school graduate or GED
• One full year of algebra
• Pass substance abuse test


Apprenticeship
• 3 year program
