UCIP-ASAP

The Union Construction Industry Partnership-Apprenticeship Skills Achievement Program (UCIP-ASAP) is an off-shoot of the successful Union Construction Industry Partnership (UCIP).  Its goals are straightforward:

bulletto develop a pre-apprenticeship training program geared for residents of the City of Cleveland.  African-Americans, women and the economically disadvantaged are encouraged to apply.
bulletto let students experience first-hand apprenticeship programs and the union construction industry; and to
bulletsecure placement for its graduates in apprenticeship programs which will provide them a pathway for a successful career in the construction industry.
